Financial literacy is the ability to understand how money works in the world: how someone manages to earn or make it, how that person manages it, how he/she invests it (turn it into more) and how that person donates it to help others.
Money Talks is a series of financial teen guides that teaches students 14 to 18 years of age about financial literacy. A team of University of California Cooperative Extension advisers and specialists developed the series and its accompanying leaders’s guides. The colorful teen guides are six to twelve pages in length and contain hands-on activities to assist teens in grasping important financial concepts.
